Lawyer Miguna Miguna has reacted to Monday's brief arrest of activist Boniface Mwangi.
On Monday, officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested Mwangi and took him to Central Police Station for questioning.
It was alleged that the activist was arrested for "planning a revolution in Kenya".
Miguna has through his Twitter handle, revealed that arresting the activist is a good sign for those willing and committed for "freedom and Justice"
Miguna added that arresting Mwangi is a clear indication the government is shaking amid the said 'revolution'.
"The brief arrest of @bonifacemwangi for allegedly "planning a revolution in Kenya" is good news for those committed to FREEDOM and JUSTICE. It is the proof that the illegitimate regime of Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is wobbling, has no roots and will soon be decapitated by the people," tweeted Miguna Miguna.
Mwangi later told Kenyans that he had been released. He also thanked them for speaking up when they learnt of his arrest.
Just like Miguna, the Pawa 254 activist said that the government is afraid of the pending revolution.
"Thank you everyone for your voices. l have been released! Kenyans are angry, hungry and broke. They feel like revolting against bad governance and corruption, and the government is afraid it’s going to happen. Revolution is not treason," he tweeted.
