An MP from Nakuru has maintained a low profile over a case he is facing over his academic papers.

The MP, who was vocal before investigators started probing his papers, is said to have forged his academic papers in order to get into parliament.

A group of his voters has also petitioned the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to expedite the case.

“He has been dodging investigators after he was summoned to record a statement,” a source privy to the case told this writer.

Claims are rife within the legislator’s constituency that he has no academic papers from secondary and university.
