A section of Orange Democratic Movement party youths on Thursday evening demanded answers over the death of Shem Oboso, a local party activist.
For few hours at Ikonge, youths accused local administration of incompetence even as the date for burial was slated on Wednesday next week.
Led by Elijah Nyakwama, they threatened to paralyze transport along Kisii-Kericho highway if the puzzle would have not be unearthed by then.
"It is now over a week since we found his dead body. The government has remained mum over the matter.
"We shall intensify the protests if nothing is done to resolve the puzzle. Those who killed him should be in jail by now," he said.
Last week, ODM Youth League chairman Dennis Marube said the slain activist was discovered dead few meters from his house.
Meanwhile, a section of youths have formed WhatsApp group in a bid to contribute funds to Oboso's burial.
