A woman shocked residents after she stripped naked when she found her husband and his ex-wife in the act.
This happened on Thursday at Nyagancha village in South Mugirango, Kisii County.
Nancy Nyabuto said she has been suspecting her husband, Edwin Nyabuto of having an affair with his former wife.
“My husband told me he divorced his first wife when he married me but I have been suspecting him because the former wife keeps on calling him on phone. I laid a trap on Thursday when he told me he was going to Etago market. I followed him from behind and saw him entering a lodging with a woman. I raided the lodging and found him with the woman having sex,” she said.
The woman said she removed all her clothes and walked naked due to the love she has for her husband.
Residents said the former wife escaped leaving the embarrassed ex-husband in the room.
“Nyabuto is a blessed man with a hardworking wife. He should be satisfied with his wife who loves him dearly instead of moving around with his former wife who had early threatened to kill him,” said Brain Mayora, a local.
Area chief David Kobingi said women convinced Nancy to wear her clothes before she returned home.
Kobingi said married couples must be faithful to each other for strong marriages to be realised.
