Former Jubilee Party Vice Chair David Murathe has finally revealed the real problem between him and Deputy President William Ruto.
Murathe has since December last year been attacking Ruto and downplaying his 2022 presidential ambitions, terming him as unqualified for the race.
But in an interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday evening, he claimed that what lies between him and the DP is ideological differences and not personal issues.
"I am not against Ruto perse. I don't have a problem with him at a personal level. What I don't approve of is his mode of operations," he said.
He stated that his rants and public attacks on the DP have been fuelled by lack of communication between them.
"I have had the chance to sit down with him and warn him so I have had to go public," noted Murathe.
But on the other hand, he said that Ruto remains a cool person away from politics, but seems to be a victim of bad advice from his allies.
"Actually, he is a good man but you might find that he is not the problem but a victim of the people surrounding him" he added.
Murathe has since vowed to go as far as the Supreme Court to block Ruto from vying for the top seat upon the completion of Uhuru's term.
