Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o has crafted a beautiful Christmas and New Year card and wished the residents of the Lakeside County a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The card has a cream background, dotted with a flower, three balloons, and Merry Christmas and New Year message with words written in green, red, brown and blue colors. The card was shared through his Press Unit.
The card consists of Kisumu County’s logo, the Governor’s photo, and Christmas and New Year message.
“As the world joins in the noel celebrations, the Governor of the Great County of Kisumu Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o and the county government of Kisumu wishes you all a very merry Xmas and Prosperous 2019. Merry Christmas full of cheers!” reads the message on the card.
Christmas is celebrated each year by Christians around the world to mark the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This year, it will be marked on Tuesday next week, with many people flocking in Churches. Since the majority of Kisumu County residents are Christians, it would be grateful to know the governor recognizes their Christmas Day.
This will be Nyong’o’s second Christmas in the office as Kisumu Governor, after being elected on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party ticket in 2017 general elections.
