Political analyst Edward Kisiangani says that Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has nothing to lose after his recent ban from stepping foot in to the neighboring Uganda.

Babu has since been slapped with the ban over his links with his Ugandan counterpart Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who has been leading an onslaught against the Ugandan government.

The ban is communicated in a letter from Ugandan Minister of Internal Affairs to Haji Abubakar to Kenyan Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Monica Juma dated November 8, and directs that he is not to ever set foot in the President Yoweri Museveni-led country.

However, according to Kisiangani in a tweet on Sunday, the youthful parliamentarian should not spend his time analyzing the ban and instead concentrate on his own operations as it is not worth regretting.

‘’If indeed Babu Owino was banned from visiting Uganda he should laugh it off coz this has saved him from wasting his time touring a country ruled by a terrible dictator, a country whose leader has been occupying our Migingo islands against international law,’’ reads the tweet.

Wine was last month in the nation where he gave public addresses and lectures under the wings of Babu.

The Ugandan government is now accusing the duo of making remarks that undermine the government and its leadership.

“Our attention is drawn to the joint subversive activities of Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine and his Kenyan counterpart Babu Owino to undermine the legitimately elected government of the Republic of Uganda,’’ reads the letter in part as was seen by the Standard.
