The county boss said it was a great honor for him to host the President.

Kibwana said that the President was happy with the value addition projects initiated in Makueni County.

“I had the rare privilege of hosting President @UKenyatta at the Makueni Exhibition booth during the #DevolutionConference2019 in Kirinyaga. The President was awestruck by our value addition initiatives meant to uplift the standards of living for our people,” Kibwana tweeted.

The governor has been on the forefront in urging other leaders to back devolution.

Kibwana has been ranked among the best performing governors since he was elected into office.

His administration has executed various development projects since he was elected in 2013.
