South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro has donated over 2,000 bricks towards the construction of a local church in his constituency.
The lawmaker broke the news on Tuesday, confirming that he will continue serving the people irrespective of how they voted during the 2017 polls.
"We committed to build the house of God as guided in the book of Haggai 1:7. We are almost there delivering bricks at Gesonso Catholic Church in Boikang'a ward," said the MP.
He lawmaker noted that he is guided by the Holy Spirit to serve his people.
According to him, he will never become broke because of extending a helping hands to others.
"No one has ever run broke by doing the work of God. I will not be broke because I am doing exactly what created me to do," he stated.
He challenged constituents to shun retrogressive politicians adding that he is busy serving constituents.
MP Osoro is serving his first term in office having elected on August 8, 2017 on a Kenya National Congress Party ticket.
He is a close ally to Deputy President William Ruto who has also been dishing out money at fund drives in churches.
