Police in Kabartonjo, Baringo county have launched s probe after a not was found killed and some of his body parts extracted.

The 15-year-old was reportedly found murdered on Saturday evening and his eyes gouged out and his nose chopped off, while on his way to a nearby trading center.

The incident was confirmed by Baringo County Police Commander Robinson Ndiwa who said that the latter was a class eight pupil at Kasesya Primary School.

He added that the boy had received his payment after doing menial jobs at a neighbour's home, and had been sent to the shopping center to deliver some animal feeds.

According to the police boss, the neighbour later followed up on him after he delayed, only to find him lying in a pool of blood by the roadside.

He said that six suspects have already been nabbed in relation to the crime, but noted that his officers are yet to solve the puzzle.

“We are yet to establish the intention of the heinous act. We have commenced investigations, six suspects have been lined up to record statements and we will follow the matter to unravel the murder," he told the Citizen Digital.

According to the neighbour, the boy also had a deep cut on the back of his head.

The body if the deceased was moved to the Baringo County Referral Hospital in Kabarnet, pending a pathological test.
