Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno on Saturday finally said 'I do' to the love of his life Nayianoi Ntutu in a colourful wedding.
The wedding was attended by top political leaders at Emurua Dikirr Primary School in Narok Count.
Notable leaders who graced the occasion include Deputy President William Ruto and Opposition leader Raila Odinga, leader of the majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale, the Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen, Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso, Isaac Ruto and Public Service Chief Administrative Secretary Rachel Shebesh.
During the event, Mr Ngeno’s team arrived in two helicopters and top-of-the-range vehicles.
His team included Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter, MPs Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Alfred Keter (Nandi Hills), Sabina Chege (Murang’a Woman Representative), Wilson Sossion (Nominated) and the DP’s aide Farouk Kibet.
“I am happy you can now settle down as a family man. The problems we have with you in the past is now water under the bridge. You are now an elder. Welcome to the married club.” Ruto said while congratulating the 45-year old MP.
On his part, ODM leader Raila Odinga said that he was happy for the lawmaker.
“He looked for me and insisted I must attend his wedding as he had finally found the love of his life. I am happy for him,” Mr Odinga said.
