Rarieda Member of Parliament Paul Otiende Amollo is with no doubt one of the top brains in the current Kenyan national assembly.
The outspoken lawyer who possesses excellent legal skills has been warming the hearts of Rarieda constituents by his efforts to uplift their living standards and effectively bring the fruits of devolution to their doorsteps.
He has used constituency development fund to initiate ECD schools, improve health sector, infrastructure and trade development projects across Asembo and Uyoma.
An instance is the East Uyoma Water Supply Scheme which has been renovated courtesy of his efforts and residents can't keep quiet about it.
Also, through CDF he has facilitated the construction of ECD classes at Kamalumbe primary school, improved Nyayiera and Kandaria Dispensary by facilitating construction of staff houses and aided in the construction of a new dispensary in Omia Diere among others.
In his development agenda, he has not forgotten the roads as he facilitated the construction of Omia Mwalo Akado Kokise Kadam Road and the Omia Malo Aluru Powo Kandaria Road.
Currently, he Makasembo Kochaye road is also being upgraded.
March last year, he distributed 1,704 pairs of shoes to four primary schools in the constituency just days after he build decent houses to their poor parents. As a result, a lot of children in Rarieda no longer walk barefooted.
Despite his high social class, he is always a down to earth leader with a keen interest in how his people are doing and always gets to the villages to listen to them.
Under a project dubbed '#OndoaNyasi", he has been constructing modest dwellings for many of the residents especially aged and widowed women within his constituency.
Besides engaging in local development, the lawmaker has been a key player in the country politics especially after he helped the NASA coalition win the presidential petition in 2017.
It was a win that stunned the entire world, as Kenya became the fourth country worldwide; to ever have a supreme court, nullify the results of a presidential election.
This being his first time in parliament, his dedication and commitment to serve his people credibly and equally is huge.
