Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has revealed through his social media accounts that he will be meeting Kenyans living in diaspora this year.
The vocal legislator stated that he will be meeting them when he makes an official trip to the US later in the year.
“I've received with concern a report that a vast majority of Kenyans living and working in the diaspora have been wishing to meet me and have a constructive discussion on matters development, investment in Embakasi East, the handshake among other issues,” said Babu Owino.
In his message, Owino revealed that many Kenyans living outside the country have been yearning to meet and talk to him on matters development and also the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga.
He went ahead to ask those in the diaspora or those who know anyone outside the country to inform them to contact him so that they can plan on how they will meet and talk issues of national importance.
“If you're one and/or know any Kenyan living in the diaspora kindly tell them to inbox me so we can plan about the same,” he posted.
