Take it or leave it, nobody gets into any serious relationship with an intention of cheating on their partners.
In fact, it just happens that your flesh overwhelms your holy being to convince you that, 'indeed the grass is much greener on the other side'.
However, even as you willingly or otherwise allow the 'evil one' to take charge over your sexual behaviours especially while married, remember the Scriptures says that 'He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself' (Proverbs 6:32).
So, if adulterous relationships are this insensible and destructive to the culprits, why do for instance, some Central Kenya men then value 'tucungwas' (sidekicks) to an extent that some even kick out their officially married wives together with children to bring in the sidekick after say the blood in their lips can no longer be hidden?
Well, only these men have a satisfactory answer to this question.
Below we will, however, give these men who adore 'tucungwas' three things that they ought to do before springing into a cheating rampage. After all, is there anything 'orange' about these so-called 'tucungwas?'
1. Have a personal conversation
Men who end up cheating on their spouses simply make a personal decision to do it. In fact, the 'gacungwa' has zero fault in this because it is the man who decides to go to her, continuously cheat with her and in some cases bring her on board as the second wife.
But before then, a personal conversation with yourself will help you to manage the mole-hill before it turns into a mountain.
2. Cut-off links with those 'foxes that spoil the blossoming vineyard' (Song of Solomon 2:15)
The 'blossoming vineyard' in this context ought to mean the thriving romance between a couple. The foxes simply represent those distractions that include 'tucungwas' that have the potential to destroy the relationship. In short, do not allow temptations to determine your marital destiny.
3. Divine intervention
If you try all the above and nothing seems to work, you may have to consider turning to the Supreme Authority.
Yes, the power beyond your human capabilities might be the thing you need to crush and annihilate your adulterous desires. Nothing is impossible before the Almighty.
