At least four politicians from Nyamira are yet to be recruited to government, one year after President Uhuru Kenyatta promised to have them rewarded.
Days to October 26th repeat elections, Uhuru summoned Gusii politicians to Nakuru State House where he publicly said all losers will be in government.
"I promise you, none of you will be left out. Gusii region has been pivotal in my campaigns and I will ensure you are rewarded.
"We have many positions where you can serve so it's paramount that you work with those who were elected," he said.
But for Walter Nyambati, Joseph Kiangoi, James Gesami, Charles Mochama and Nyambega Mose, it's been a long wait from State House.
Already, Uhuru only facilitated Charles Nyachae to Arusha as judge in East Africa Court while Doris Aburi was appointed to Sony Sugar board.
On his part, Nyambati has been struggling to dethrone Governor John Nyagarama of ODM and would return on November 8th to Supreme Court for hearing.
The rest are going through their usual businesses with a source saying handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga could have thwarted their fortunes.
