Governor James Ongwae, Senator Prof Sam Ongeri, Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, the Speaker of the County Assembly David Kombo and thousands of fans were in attendance.

The home team humbled Embu County football team by three goals to nil, this after a narrowly beating Nandi County 1-0 in the opening match On Monday before humiliating Kajiado County 5-0 the same day.

In the first match, Peter Omwando scored the winning goal in the 80th minute while Ogachi Ratemo, Likavo Adoli, Steve Ogeto and Absolom Ratemo scored in the 2nd, 17th, 34th and 39th minutes respectively in the first half while George Omare closed the scoring chart in the 87th minute when they humbled Kajiado County.

While playing against Embu County, the scorers were Leonard Manyange and Captain Ogachi Ratemo.

The games are set to end on 18th August.
