A female student from Maseno University and her male counterpart from the University of Nairobi (UON) on Thursday morning clashed in Lolwe following disagreements.
The UON student identified as Elvis had arrived in Lolwe, Kisumu to continue with his studies only to find that his household items had been put on sale.
According to Elvis, his girlfriend Mary Akoko had notified him via a text message that he was going to sell the items she had stored for him at their home if he was not going to send her money for the upkeep of her pregnancy.
“She threatened to sell my mattress. It's a 6x6 HD mattress. I told her I didn’t have money at the moment," said Elvis.
Elvis stayed put at his girlfriend’s mother’s house saying that Mary was playing games just to snatch the expensive mattress from him.
According to Mary, she had sold the mattress a month ago after his boyfriend declined to support his clinic bills and diet.
The duo caused a havoc attracting the attention of the public.
Mary who is no longer pregnant claimed that she had lost her baby through miscarriage barely a week ago after her boyfriend took her through a deep trauma.
