Gor Mahia lost the match 4-0, but it seems a section of their players attracted various scouts in Europe.

“I have just received another phone call from a well-known scout from Scotland and he wants the details of the six players. Had my players’ played like I know, the list could have been even bigger,” Gor Mahia head Coach Dylan Kerr told goal.com.

The Coach says that the six who are under the radar of European scouts are Captain Harun Shakava, defenders Shafik Batambuze, Philemon Otieno and midfielders Ernest Wendo, Cercidy Okeyo and Francis Nyambura Kahata.

The Kenya Premier League (KPL) Champions become the first ever East African side to play on English soil.

Last year, Everton and Gor Mahia clashed in Tanzania with the Europeans managing a narrow 2-1 win.

The KPL side used the match as part of preparations ahead of the new KPL season set to kick off next month.

Gor Mahia will also represent Kenya in the Confederations of African Football (CAF) Champions League next year, by virtue of being KPL champions.
