One month after Rongo University student Sharon Otieno was brutally murdered thrusting the institution to the limelight, another death has been reported at the varsity.

A fourth-year student from the institution was reportedly found murdered and his body dumped into river Kuja in Rongo sub-county.
Rongo OCPD Peter Kirui confirmed the incident saying a post-mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of the student’s death.
The student was pursuing a Bachelors degree in Tourism and Hospitality and disappeared on September 19.
The varsity’s Vice Chancellor Prof Samuel Gudu urged comrades to be patient as investigations continue.
