Mr. Moi said those accused of corruption should not be allowed to hide behind their communities or political parties.

He made the remarks in Murang’a County after attending a fundraising at Gitui Catholic Church where he also said that the president should not be distracted by anyone.

"Let us all stand and be counted in the fight against corruption as it threatens to undermine the gains made in all sectors of the economy,” he said.

Mr. Moi pledged support for Uhuru’s Big Four agenda of food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and affordable healthcare.

Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku, who was present, denied claims of emerging split in Jubilee in the wake of the renewed fight against graft.
