Political analyst Steve Ogola now says that more trouble awaits Migori Governor Okoth Obado back in his county.
In an interview on Citizen TV Sunday, Ogola observed that Obado is on his way out of the gubernatorial seat, whether willingly or otherwise.
The commentator noted that Obado's implication in the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno has laid foundation for his ouster as the county boss.
"As much as he can remain free under the presumption that one remains innocent until proven guilty, he will have to answer the question of leadership accountability expected of him," he said.
"The law indicates that a leader of such caliber conducts himself with decency. However, the same is the opposite of how he has conducted himself with Sharon," he said.
According to the analyst who also doubles up as a Lawyer, Obado should, therefore, prepare for an impeachment motion by his county Members of County Assembly (MCAs).
He added that Obado now has to choose between voluntarily exiting to prevent the looming row, or face his possible unceremonious ouster.
"The truth is that Governor Obado is on his way out. The question now is; does he want to resign or be impeached?" he noted.
The Governor has since admitted having been in a romantic relationship with the slain beauty.
