There are many myths about men that we have literally inherited from our parents which they also inherited from their parents.
However, they could best be described as myths because so many people believe them though they should not.
Below are some of the myths deeply entrenched in our society:
1. Men are intimidated by successful women
So many people have come to think that men are "afraid" of women who have made it in life.
However, this is just a myth because nowadays men get into marriage based on their feelings and not because of the amount of material wealth a woman has or does not have.
2. Men look "girlish" in pink and purple colours
We have come to believe that the two colors-pink and purple are women like. When a man puts them on, they look girlish.
This is not the case. Haven't you seen men looking superb in pink blazers and some in purple shirts? These are just colours just like any other and any person can put them on.
3. Men should not cry
The society believes that crying is a phenomenon associated with women.
As a result, men who cry are deemed to have female characters. Men, just like women, have feelings. They get hurt and as a result, they cry.
However, as the head of the family, a man should persevere and cry away from the glare of everyone.
4. "All men are dogs":
This is always insulting towards men by women who have probably been hurt by few men. They try hard to make everyone believe that good man are non-existent.
This is not true. In many instances, women hurt men but we will never come clean about it.
