Exiled Nairobi politician ansand lawyer Miguna Miguna has said the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli is an opportunist who should be in jail.
Miguna alleged that if Atwoli was in countries like the US, Canada, he would be serving a jail term of not less than 1500 years.
Miguna listed theft, money laundering, and subjecting workers to slavery as some of the things that would land Atwoli in jail.
"If Atwoli was a US or Canadian citizen, he would be serving 1,500 years in jail with El-Chappo Guzman for money laundering, theft of union dues, subjecting flower workers to slavery and dereliction of duty. But #JKLive auditions the primitive Atwoli to Kenyans," tweeted Miguna
Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) had a different opinion, some saying that Atwoli knows what he wants and goes for it.
"He plays his cards well though......... Praises Uhuru.... Curses Uhuru's mates....sits with "baba" ...... How can he be possibly caught with this. Tough croc skin protecting him and his interests," KOT member Anada posed.
"That's not "playing your cards well;" it is being an opportunist," said Miguna.
Atwoli was live with Jeff Koinange where he discussed a number of things including Jomo Kenyatta International Airport issue, the referendum, the firing of former CS Rashid Echesa, and many more. #hivisasaoriginal
