In many instances, men are the ones who are accused of being unfaithful to their partners.

Well, forget about the usual tricks some men use to conceal their cheating habits. Campus guys have devised new tricks to avoid being caught.

According to a section of students from universities and colleges in the outskirts of Eldoret town, they use these tricks to avoid confrontations with their girlfriends.

1. Faking headaches: Faking headaches is common for lovers who are usually in long distance relationships because it is difficult to know if he is telling the truth or not. Usually, the man uses the excuse with the intention of asking the girlfriend to give him some alone time to rest.

Matthew, a third-year student from the University of Eldoret, confessed to using the excuse on several occasions by telling his girlfriend "Babe, I have a headache today and really need some time to relax. I know I will be OK if I retire to bed early."

He said that his girlfriend would never hesitate to allow him to take a "rest".

2. Blackout: This is an excuse that would be difficult to judge.

Feroze a former student at Alphax college said that he would inform his girlfriend about a false power outage a few minutes to 9pm and then quickly rush to switch off his phone.

"The next minute my girlfriend is calling she gets responses from the sim company, the number you have dialled cannot be reached," said Feroze.

He said many campus guys have managed to get away with cheating by using these tricks.
