Former South Mugirango MP Omingo Magara has rubbished NASA leader Raila Odinga's referendum calls insisiting 'it is a waste of time'.
The former lawmaker said Kenyans should ignore Raila because he is desperate for power.
"This is not the time Kenyans should be forced to go for a referendum due to the high cost of living. I am urging Raila to accept and retire in peace," he said.
Magara noted that Raila's old age won't allow him become President even if the constitution is amended.
"Now that he wants to become President, he is out seeking to amend the same constitution in his own favor. I am condmening him with the strongest terms possible," he noted.
The PDP Party leader reiterated that 2022 will be time for a youthful person to clinch Presidency even if it can't be DP Ruto.
"Some individual are not happy with DP Ruto becoming President in 2022. We have other youthful people to become President and not Raila," he stated.
