Omingo Magara, who unsuccessfully vied for the Kisii senator seat during the 2017 polls, claimed that Raila is confused since he has forgotten his roles in the opposition.

"Raila is to blame for a weak opposition team. He has reduced himself to be a political broker instead of being firm to play his roles in opposition. Raila's trip to China with President Uhuru Kenyatta means he is tired being in opposition," said Magara.

Magara called upon opposition leaders to consider sending Raila home because he has chosen to side with the government.

He wondered why Raila could accompany his rival to China to borrow a loan which will in return be a burden to Kenyans.

The vocal politician appealed to Nyamira and Kisii residents to stop rallying behind Raila Odinga who never consults supporters when making political decisions.

"Raila must be avoided because he makes decisions on his own without getting the views of supporters. Kenyans will continue suffering due to lack of strong opposition team in the country," he added.

Magara was speaking on Friday in Tabaka, South Mugirango during the burial of David Tamaro Abuya the proprietor of Tabaka Academy.
