Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi is always quick and fearless to give his opinion whenever he falls out with an idea or event.
Ababu Namwamba left ODM for Labour Party citing that his position in the party had no influence.
The Senior Council did not like Namwamba’s move to quit ODM and Raila, saying that was the last thing he expected from the MP.
Speaking on national television in July 2016, Ahmednasir described Namwamba as one of the politicians who was created and it was early for him to stand against Raila.
He described his move out of ODM as unfair, especially after Raila had uplifted him into top politics.
“You know there are so many politicians who are unfair to Raila. He creates them, he nurtures them, he makes them something and finally they turn against him. But you know Raila will let them lose and I don’t think you will hear of Ababu after 2017. Take it from me,” said Ahmednasir.
He added that it was going to be difficult for Namwamba to beat a candidate who was going to stand against him using ODM ticket due to the popularity of the party in Budalangi.
Ababu eventually lost to the ODM candidate Raphael Wanjala in 2017 General Elections before he was hired as Foreign Affairs CAS by President Uhuru.
