A phone is likely to overheat when one uses it for long or even heat up fast if there are many apps stored. Poor ventilation can also be a big contribution to phone heating up.

When a phone overheats, it’s function is likely to be affected in a manner that it is likely to start hanging. 

However, for one to keep their phones from overheating, here are some of the things that one can do;  

1. Turn off unused apps in your phone

Your phone might be heating up due to the unused apps that are making the phone work harder. For that reason, one can switch off the unused apps in order to prevent the phone from overheating.

2. Turn your phone to aeroplane mode

When one turns their phones on aeroplane mode, the devices will only allow one to use the essential apps and blocking the non-essentials. Doing so, one might be blocking the apps that are contributing the heating up of the phone.

3. Take the case off

When the phone is overheating, and then the case of the phone is not functioning as it is supposed to. Therefore, one should take off the case to allow the normal phone’s ventilation to do its work.
