A reformed Nairobi criminal has shared details on how he spent years chopping off and selling women's breasts in the city.
Boniface Kimanyano on Monday revealed to the Standard that he for two years survived on the job, most of his victims being commercial sex workers.
In an exclusive interview with KTN, Kimanyano said that himself and his colleagues would lure women to their trap and intoxicate them to sleep before doing the job.
“We lured the women into our trap before cutting off their breasts and selling them. We used some chemical, ‘flexor’, that made women sleep, then we would descend on them," he was quoted by the Standard.
He claimed that they worked on orders, and would earn between Sh100,000 and 150,000 depending on the size, and then delivered deliver them to the buyers at Givanjee Gardens.
“There are these people who gave us orders, and according to them, this was a booming business. Ours was to simply get the breasts, and take them to a spot at Jevanjee Gardens where the ‘body brokers’ picked them,” he said.
He said that his gang would start suffering in 2016 when a number were arrested over claims of colluding with hospitals to trade in the body parts.
This was after the group resorted to hospitals as their source of the bodyparts, as luring women became a hard task.
He said that he decided to ditch the job after coming to the realization that women were brutally suffering and dying in his hands.
