Education minister Gladys Momanyi will know her fate on Tuesday during the crucial hearing by County Assembly select committee.
Members of the public are required to submit written memoranda to the committee that is probing allegations she's facing by Monday (today).
A special committee sitting has been scheduled on Tuesday where she will have an opportunity to be heard before a final report is tabled in the assembly.
"I have done nothing wrong but I have to obey the rule of law. I shall avail myself and give my side of story. I can assure you that we did nothing wrong," she told reporters on Monday.
"The good thing is, the truth on abuse of office, misappropriation of funds among others shall all be known. I have absolutely nothing to hide."
Mrs Momanyi is the second minister to face impeachment within three months. Her colleague Bernard Osumo is facing a similar process.
Nominated MCA Irene Sese on Friday at a funeral ceremony in Nyansiongo said she will prove why the minister should be sacked.
"I have evidence and that is why the assembly passed the motion. I will not tire until she leaves office. We cannot allow any more embezzlement and abuse of office," she said.
Speaker Moffat Teya had defended the two impeachment motions arguing that MCAs are in order to bring the motions in the assembly.
