Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has credited Deputy President William Ruto for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s presidential win in 2013 and 2017.
Speaking on Emoo FM, Kabogo said Uhuru should be grateful to Ruto over his support.
“Without the Deputy President, there's no seat Uhuru would have gotten, I also ask the question why was the relationship good in the first term, what has changed now? I blame the President for not informing his team about the handshake,” Kabogo said.
The politician advised Uhuru and Ruto to put their house in order and serve Kenyans.
The vocal leader also faulted the President over the ongoing situation in the country where several scandals have been mentioned.
“No money leaves the ministry without the approval of the PS, the President should stop being furious about his cabinet, he appointed them and has powers to fire them. He shouldn't be crying to us, if he is no longer capable he should tell us,” Kabogo added.
On the ongoing investigations in the country, Kabogo said the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti and Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji ought to achieve much more.
“The current DPP and DCI look active but the results are zero, take people to court with evidence,” he said.
