Nairobi Milimani Chief Magistrate (CM)Francis Andayi will today make a ruling on whether five terror suspects charged with terrorism counts in relation to the 2015 Garissa University College terror attack have a case to answer.
The five suspects are Charles Mberesero, Mohamed Ali Abdikadir, Hassan Aden, Sahal Diriye and Osman Abdi.
They were charged in 2015 with 150 counts of terrorism.
In his submissions on the case to answer, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji wants the five to be placed on their defense.
Haji argues that his office has proved a prima facie case against the five.
The prosecutor argues that circumstantial evidence links the suspects to the terror attack.
The Garissa college attack left 147 students dead and others injured.
