This is after he was taken to Kisumu Aga Khan hospital on Saturday after complaining of discomfort and dizziness.

He was later diagnosed with low blood pressure and put on bed rest as doctors insisted he was in a stable condition.

The same was confirmed by the hospital's Medical Superintendent Sam Oula who added that he spent the night at the facility.

"The governor has been flown to Nairobi for conclusive tests. We kept him in the hospital overnight. Though he is stable, we need to carry out further tests. We did not have conclusive results," he told the Nation.

The county chief was attending the crowning ceremony of Philip Anyolo as the new Archbishop of Kisumu Catholic archdiocese at the Uzima University grounds in the county.

The county chief has been in and out of hospitals over the last three years for medical problems related to the accident he had in 2016 as he said in his article.

He had a hipbone surgery in the USA in early 2018 and has insisted on feeling a lot better.

The Saturday event was attended by among others, Deputy President William Ruto, opposition boss Raila Odinga and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.
