Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has advised flamboyant businessman Don Bosco Gichana to ensure he doesn't engage in dubious dealings which will land him in trouble again.
The MP speaking on Wednesday, at a local radio station during an interview, said Gichana could make a good leader.
"I am sure the five years Mr. Gichana spent in a Tanzanian prison will change him. He is a free man but, I am requesting him not to engage in dubious dealings which may put him in trouble," he said.
Mr. Onyonka said Gichana who hails from Kitutu Chache South is free to vie for any seat including the MP seat in 2022.
He stated that he will not have any problem if the people of Kitutu Chache will vote for Mr. Gichana in 2022.
"I will be vying for the Kisii county top seat and therefore if the people of Kitutu Chache will decide to vote for Gichana will be fine but, all I need is to have a competent leader succeeding me to continue serving the people transparently," he added.
Onyonka who doubles as Ford Kenya Deputy Party leader warned Mr. Gichana against associating himself with people whose integrity is questionable.
