A nominated Jubilee senator from Gusii region has been warned against drumming up support for Deputy President William Ruto ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Dennis Marube, Nyamira County youth leader argued that Senator Millicent Omanga should not step in any corner more particularly in Nyamira County to rally locals to support DP Ruto's presidential bid.
"Youths will not be used as bridges by politicians. It is a humble request to Ms. Omanga not to waste time coming to Gusii region with her beauty to drum support for DP Ruto. She will get it rough with us," he said.
He claimed that the senator should consider standing firm with the community failure to which she will not be condoned.
"The Jubilee senator only has one option to side with the Gusii community's stand politically or she keep off involving herself in the community politics. We want leaders who will value the electorates interests and not their selfish interests," he added.
Mr Marube challenged Jubilee elected leaders from the region to dump Jubilee party ahead of the 2022 polls on grounds that the party is dead.
