There was drama at a popular guest house in Garissa town when a middle-aged woman caught her cheating husband red-handed with another woman.
The woman, identified as Amina found the two in the room after receiving a tip-off from a friend who works in the hotel.
Amina arrived at the hotel 20 minutes after her husband went into the ground floor room with his mistress.
When she arrived at the hotel, Amina who was accompanied by another female friend knocked on the door pretending to be cleaners.
The husband who was wearing shorts only opened the door and was shocked to see his wife burst into the hotel room.
The cheating woman was found in bed in just her underwear and started to scream as she tried to escape.
The commotion attacked members of the public and onlookers were left in stitches as the man tried to plead with his wife not to embarrass him in public.
“The wife was armed with a broom and she took a swing at the couple. The mistress was trying to apologise and she runs into the corner of the room while the husband tried to calm his wife down,” said Hussein Ibrahim, one of the onlookers who was staying at the hotel.
It took the intervention of the guest house management to cool Amina down but she threatened to teach her husband a lesson once they got home.
