A middle-aged man was busted sneaking a school girl from her bedroom on Sunday night.
The incident happened in Nyatieko, Mosocho in Kisii County.
Joseph Onsase said he has been suspecting Clinton Areri who is a close neighbour of having an affair with his daughter who is a student at a local secondary school.
"Areri has been engaging in illicit sex with my daughter. I laid a trap on him since I realized he sneaks her from the bedroom to his house and later returns her back on the wee hours of the morning," said Onsase.
Furious Onsase said it was at 11 pm when he spotted Areri dressed in a vest in his daughter's bedroom.
"I stormed the bedroom and found Areri red-handed. I beat him up before he overpowered me and escaped," he noted.
Area assistant chief Ronald Omwansa confirmed the incident and said Areri has since gone into hiding.
"He was lucky to escape from the house otherwise, locals could have beaten him like a stray dog. The girl revealed that Areri has been sleeping with her for the last 2 months. Men must respect school girls," said the chief.
He assured that the suspect is being traced to Marani where he has gone to hide.
