Police officers are now looking for a man in Nandi county who allegedly defiled and impregnated his twin daughters.
This is after one of the daughters shared her painful experience in the hands of her blood father.
The 17-year-old daughter was captured on a video by Daily Nation crying for justice following the incident. The man being pursued is a resident at Kaptumek village, Tinderet sub-county in Nandi.
According to the daughter, the father had earlier defiled her sister, who later committed suicide when she found out that she was pregnant. He was later jailed for three years only to repeat the inhumane act to the other daughter after serving his term in jail.
The incident was also reported by Hivisasa with the girl claiming that she reported to the area village elder and chief but no action was taken.
She was forced to relocate to Eldoret after realizing that she was pregnant following the fathers' inhumane act.
The girl has another two-year-old child and she was planning to deliver and leave the other child in Eldoret town.
For now, her hope is that the father is arrested and prosecuted even as she seeks help from wellwishers in bringing up her child and the taking care of the pregnancy.
