Naivasha residents have called on area police boss Samuel Waweru to beef up security in the sub-county.
The residents said there is a gang of killers that is roaming the town’s outskirts freely.
“That gang is the one that killed the farm worker. Where is our security men and women?” Geoffrey Gitahi said.
Gitahi was lamenting the murder of a mother of twins who was killed a few metres from her house on Saturday morning.
The woman was heading to a local farm at 5am in the morning when she was killed by unknown people.
Her body was dumped along the Nakuru-Naivasha highway, metres from her house, where residents stumbled on it.
“We were told that a woman had been killed only to find it was our niece. She had left the house in the morning,” a family source said.
“We want security beefed up,” the source added.
