President Uhuru Kenyatta moves have left his staff in government in a panic mode.
Sources said President Kenyatta might crack the whip on several Cabinet Secretaries he feels are not committed to his legacy.
On Friday, the President reshuffled his cabinet where he moved Adan Mohammed from the Industrialisation docket to that of East African Affairs.
Peter Munya was brought in to take over from Mohammed who had been accused of being a stumbling block to the war on counterfeits.
“We don’t know who is next and as you can see things are happening so fast these days. There is panic, just know that,” a senior government officer said.
Sources said the government is under ‘a new Uhuru’ whose only focus is his legacy.
“He made the announcements when his deputy Ruto was in Isiolo, and that alone can tell you a dozen things,” another source added.
