One of the ways of managing stress is eating healthy foods as well as avoiding some foods.

Experts have listed the following foods that should be avoided at any cost, for any stressed-up person:

1.   Processed foods

Any food that is not natural, comes sealed in tins or boxes, it contains preservatives, etc.  is considered processed foods and should be avoided when you are stressed up. 

It is said these foods might hinder the body's ability to tackle the stress. 

2. Excessive caffeine

Your morning and evening coffee should be regulated so that you are not just consuming excessive caffeine that will eventually disrupt your adrenals and nervous system, leaving you unable to fight your stress. 

You will not manage to be cool and have a peaceful rest with this kind of caffeine in your body, and without rest, stress will stay for long in your house.

3. Sugar

When you are stressed up, the urge for sugary foods rises so that your body collects enough energy to fight back the cause of stress, however, your stress might not need that, for instance, if you are stressed up for not completing work project within the set down deadline, you don't need the energy to fight back.
