Speaking at Citizen TV on Friday evening, the girls promised each other to never abandon Mevis if the results revealed they were separated at birth.

According to Sharon who has been living in Nairobi, Melon should always remember Mevis has been her sister, therefore, give her unconditional love.

"To you Melon, for the time we have shared ever since we met, I can say that I appreciate since you have made my holiday. Maybe for the things we share, similar things, I just like to urge you [that] if DNA results come out and you find that you are my sister, please, I am requesting you do not abandon Mevis," an emotional Sharon pleaded with Melon.

On the other hand, Melon promised to love Mevis should the DNA results show that they are sisters.  She has been living with Mevis at Likuyani, Kakamega for the last 19 years.

"I promise to love you (Sharon) and also to love Mevis because she has been my sister and has been keeping me moving, showing me true love," Melon promised Sharon

Further, the twins said they will forge ahead as triplets. They vowed to live knowing they have two mothers.

According to their mother Rosemary Onyango, she was informed while on her sixth month of pregnancy that she might have twins or triplets.

She later gave birth through a cesarian section and one of her children developed complications. She was given twins, Mevis and Melon.

The two(Mevis and Melon) grew together until Melon met her twin sister on social media.

The Director of Criminal Investigation(DCI) is already on the case.
