Although not all are myths, here are three common lies about male infertility according to elcrema.com;

1. Men can't be infertile

Most people believe that men can't be infertile.

In fact, whenever a couple fails to make babies, it is always blamed on the woman.

However, this is a lie, and it should be noted that men experience infertility issues as well.

This could be due to low sperm amount, poor quality sperms or failure by the body to induce sperm production through the production of testosterone.

2. Too much sex could cause infertility

Too much sex does not cause infertility.

In fact, some sources explain that frequent sex boosts fertility and activates sperm production by the relevant body processes.

3. Men are always fertile

A large percentage of men are always fertile until the time of their death.

But it should also be known that fertility drops with ageing.

As men age, the level of testosterone drops and fertility, therefore, drops as well.

Most men start experiencing low testosterone levels at age 35, and as they age even further, sperm level and quality drop rendering them infertile in some way.
