Gor Mahia striker Dennis Oliech has been left out of the AFCON provisional squad, which was announced on Sunday by coach Sebastien Migne.
The Gor Mahia attacker has not been included in Kenya’s final 25-man AFCON qualifiers and CHAN 2020 squad, even with his good form since signing for Gor.
Oliech has so far scored 4 goals and has one assist for the KPL champions in all competitions since signing under the dotted line in January.
The 34-year-old is regarded as the finest player Kenya has had, and has won 72 caps for Harambee Stars scoring 34 goals, more than any other player.
Though he hasn’t played for his country since retiring from international football in 2016, there were hopes that he would make the list to the AFCON.
