Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has been warned against endorsing Borabu MP Ben Momanyi for the gubernatorial seat in 2022.
A section of Nyamira residents said Nyagarama has no right to make a choice for Nyamira people.
"Nyagarama himself is a total failure since 2013. He can't endorse MP Momanyi to succeed him in 2022. Nyamira people should be given humble time to elect a governor in 2022 who will not behave like Nyagarama," said Miruka Nyakundi.
According to Nyakundi, the county boss has been loitering around the county with the Wiper Party allied lawmaker another failure who should not be entertained.
"Momanyi has failed to deliver in Borabu constituency a clear indication that he can't do anything in Nyamira county. Nyagarama should therefore know that Nyamira is not his house where he can rule as he wants," he noted.
Angered David Moriasi also appealed to the county boss to complete his term in peace.
"Nyamira people have not appointed Nyagarama to be the spokesperson. He has no authority to dictate us on who should be the next governor. Let him finish his term and go home slowly without looking back," said Moriasi.
Abel Maroko confirmed that MP Momanyi will fail terribly if he runs for the county's top seat.
