The county government of Kisii has reiterated that they are more than ready receive and host the Cuban doctors who jetted into the country recently.
According to Kisii county Secretary and Public Service boss Patrick Lumumba, the county has renovated houses to accommodate the medical experts.
“We’ve done all the necessary arrangements to receive the two Cuban doctors in our county,” said Lumumba.
Additionally, two vehicles have been allocated to be used by the medics; a surgeon and family doctor. The health experts from Cuba are expected to serve in all sub-county hospitals at different times.
Mr Lumumba further noted that the deployment of the medics will see improvement of medical services in the county in particular and the entire nation in general.
The county official also disclosed that a schedule will be released to residents about the facilities the doctors will serving each week. He called upon residents to take advantage of the opportunity to seek the help of their health status.
