Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen has finally responded to his counterpart, the Minority Leader, James Orengo over a scathing statement he made last week.
Orengo, last week attacked Murkomen for linking Raila Odinga to the ongoing Mau evictions in Narok.
Speaking at the funeral service of Nyamira GovernorJohn Nyangarama’s son George Ndemo, Orengo termed Murkomen a fool.
"If there is a man who gave birth to a fool its Murkomen's father. How can you accuse Raila of evicting your people and at the same time say that you are the government? posed the Siaya Senator.
However, in response, the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator via his Twitter handle on Thursday said the debate on who sired him can only be between Orengo and his father.
Murkomen added that he respects Orengo’s children and their achievements because he ventured into politics years back.
The Senate Majority Leader has been under siege for the past few weeks over his brazen utterances which have been perceived to be disrespectful to President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga.
His utterances have been inspired by what he has termed as inhumane eviction of Mau residents.
When he toured the area last week with a host of other Jubilee leaders from Rift Valley, he blamed the woes of Mau residents on some forces whom he claimed got to power recently.
This was perceived that he was talking of Raila’s newly-found dalliance with Uhuru after the historic March 9 handshake.
