County residents have reacted following a decision by the health workers to call off strike which paralyzed operations at Public health centers for three months.
A section of locals said they have suffered a lot for the three months the doctors and nurses boycotted work.
"Finally, God has answered our prayers. We will continue seeking affordable medical care at public facilities after 3 months of suffering.
"The county government should ensure the health workers’ grievances are addressed so that they don’t boycott work next time,” said Daniel Ogutu.
Margaret Osaso said women and children, who have suffered a lot, will now have something to smile about.
“Women and children suffered a lot since there was no one attending them at public centers," she argued.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi said the county government should ensure the health workers are paid in time.
“Doctors and nurses boycotted work because of salaries. It is time the county government ensures this does not occur," he said.
