A man killed himself in Free Area estate, Nakuru, as he complained over piling debts which he was unable to pay.
Peter Waweru, 38, a father of two, is said to have panicked over his piling debts.
The family said he had complained of a friend who threatened to take action if he did not pay a debt he had taken from him.
Unable to sort the debt, and with time running out, Waweru disappeared from his home in Mzee Wanyama and went to his parents’ home in Free Area.
He later hanged himself.
Free Area chief Stephen Macharia confirmed the incident.
Macharia asked people with stressing issues to talk them out with others as they might be solved.“Sometimes you might think something is too big.
But people have a solution on all thing, talk them out,” the chief said.
