Kiharu Member of parliament Ndindi Nyoro has claimed that the arrest of State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi is meant to intimidate individuals supporting Deputy President William Ruto.
Speaking in Eldoret on Friday, Nyoro stated that the DCI should desist from harassing DP Ruto allies.
"I want to tell the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and the Director of Public Prosecution not to allow themselves to be used by some self-centered individuals to get political mileage," he said.
"Anyone who thinks he will instill fear by arresting people who support deputy president like us should look for another job since they may arrest as many as possible but they can't arrest the many hearts that stand for the Hustler Nation," the Kiharu Member of parliament added.
He said the arrest is just diversionary gimmicks working to show Kenyans that the so-called independent agencies are -political outfits led by Juntas.
"No matter what they say or do come rain come sunshine the country will be lead by a hustler come 2022 that is none other than William Ruto," he said.
Flying Squad officers on Wednesday arrested Dennis Itumbi at City Hall in Nairobi over links to Deputy President William Ruto alleged assassination letter.
